Overview
Ever wondered how it would actually feel like to have the power of telekinesis or lumikinesis? Luximotion is an interactive light installation that lets participants experience exactly that. It was presented at the open days in the University of the Arts Bremen in 2014.
The users hand gestures are being translated into the three dimensional position of a glowing orb, seemingly floating through the air. In addition to the moving light the user get’s a spatial soundfeedback. The magic behind this installation is a Leap Motion Sensor in combination with Processing and three microcontrollers. This project was created in collaboration with Eran Amir and Philipp Theiss.
